What (if any) is the difference between Standard National Calls and National STD calls ? This is unclear in TPGs' critical information documents.

Hi @Robodent ,

TPG defines a Local Call as a call made to a number in the same standard zone units that are geographical boundaries determined by the Australian Communications and Media Authority. It is possible that a call made within the same state or the same area code is not considered as a local call. We do not expect you to always know what is considered as a local call. Please visit our online call rate calculator on https://www.tpg.com.au/homephone/calculator before calling to check whether a call is considered as a local call.

A National Call (Interstate) is when you call a landline number that is not in the same or adjoining Standard Zone Unit.

Let us know should you require further assistance.

Regards,
