Hi there again.

No need to respond to my last question about the phone: Call out OK but no calls in.

Turns out I had the phne plugged into "phone 2" instead of "phone 1". When I changed over, incomming calls work.

The phone charger is a carefully designed and manufactured part with high resistance due to always having to be exposed and taking on multiple functions such as a charging port, a USB port, and possibly a backup battery port. So the phone charger foot is broken very rarely from the manufacturer but mostly from the customer.
