Hi @bandsmorris,

Welcome to the community!

We'd love to help and see what causing the incoming call redirected to voicemail. To better understand the situation, we'd like to get your account details (Username/Customer ID together with the address on file).

Cheers!

Hi

My Account is 66 77 XXX

When I was contacted via mobile it was going straight to message bank

After all most 2 hours with Telstra my voice message was removed and the call rang and  went through to telstra message bank

Today when rung from a mobile nothing happens which is better as previously anything left on message bank could not be retrieved

The phone number is 073375XXXX

Thanks for passing on the details, @bandsmorris

TPG home phone doesn't offer something like messagebank or a voicemail that you can access by dialling a number on your phone,

TPG has a temporary voicemail service available during the few days when you are porting in your phone number from a previous provider over to TPG Home Phone. Once the porting is completed, the voicemail will no longer be available.

I would recommend to check the model and look for the manual of the handset you are using to see if you can disable/enable the voicemail option.

Note: I have edited your post as it contains your TPG account details as well as your homephone number.

Let us know if we can be of further assistance,

Cheers!

I dont think you guys get it

1 The landline works fine no issue when a call is made from another landline

2The ISSUE now is when somebody calls from a mobile phone the line goes dead on the caller NOTHING TO DO WITH MY HAND SET

On Friday when I called from my mobile I got my recorded voicemail which was on telstra after 2 hours with telstra my voice message was removed and it went through to voice mail without my greeting NOW it does not ring it just dead

I suggest you try and ring my number

Telstra are saying it has not been ported correctly which i find hard to believe if TPG can not fix it must br a Telstra issue

I have the transcript of my Telstra discussion and intend to forward to the ombudsman as I have a disabled who does not have and landline only his mobile  and needs to contact us via landline

Hi @bandsmorris,

We understand that one of our tech team has been in touch and confirmed that the mobile phone calls are not getting through your landline.

We've reset the voice connection remotely. Are you able to call your home phone number using your mobile?

We'll wait for your update.

Regards,

BasilDV
