We were able to test the line and was not able to detect any fault.
There's a record that shows that you were able to use the phone service. Are you experiencing issues with your incoming calls?
If yes, what are the troubleshooting that you've done so far?
Please provide more information as we can't assess the case properly.
when I say my landline is dead I meant to say that my phone through the NBN system works but up till a few weeks ago, the old system stopped working like I have a telcom handset next to my bed but it has just gone dead also unable to send faxes when the phone rings it is coming via the little NBN box which is connected to the modem, the NBN box was changed by a tec a few weeks ago and that was when the old system stopped working. perhaps a plug has been put in the wrong hole on the modem hope that explains my trouble a bit better.
