Archer VR1600 router constantly dropping out killing FTTB connection - bad router

Last week I had a problem where the internet light on the router went out, which was fixed remotely, although no indication was given what the problem was. Since Friday I have been losing WLAN connection to the router. This happens on both the 5GHz and 2.4GHz. It comes back after a reboot, but this evening the connection is dropping again after a couple of minutes.


This seems likely to be a duff router to me. Been trying to contact support without much luck. Just end up stuck in an endless phone queue ... and if there is an online. ticket creation page, I have failed to find it. Does such a page exist? For future reference.

New router incoming ... all I had to do was ask.
