Firmware update for Huawei HG630

I've been experiencing a lot of issues with my modem/tpg connection and want to rule out firmware issues, so have been looking unsuccessfully for an update. I read somewhere it needs to be customised for each user or something? No idea why, but just in case, could someone please contact me about getting a firmware update for my old  Huawei HG630.
