I've been trying to upgrade my firmware but don't know if I'm either doing it wrong or can't actually do it myself... This is the device information:

Firmware Version: 0.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 180828 Rel.56416n

Hardware Version: Archer VR1600v v1 00000000

Can anyone help? Thanks

Hi @itsmehuey

The 1.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 180828 Rel.35294n you are running is the latest firmware for a TPG FTTB service.

Karl

Hi, I got my modem from a friend who purchased it through TPG a while ago. I am using it for a HFC NBN connection. The firmware version is 1.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 180828 Rel.35294n

Is it possible to get an updated firmware?

Thank you

Hi @David_M,

I currently don't have an account with you yet, considering to change my provider.

Hi @alexshel

Unfortunately we cant push a firmware to that modem unless it is in use with a current active  customer.

The firmware is pushed to each individual modem, not something end users generally do themselves.

I would finish your signup and get an active service installed, and then worry about updating the firmware.

It may happen automatically during the activation process.
