Hitachi Android TV unable to “detect” wifi

It’s a bit bizarre really
Had this TV far away from modem and router and it work all be it really slowly. Had call to move said tv within 6ft of modem/router and it fails to detect network. Even when I manually input it can’t detect it. Every other device working fine, speed good.
Any suggestions?

Are you able to detect other WiFi network using your Android TV?

Are there any saved network in your TVs' WiFi network? If yes, try to forget or delete all of the saved network, then try searching for the WiFi again.

You may also try changing the WiFi name of your network.
