How do I set a static IP on the TPLink Archer VR1600v ?

I need help in setting up a static IP on the TPLink Archer VR1600v .

Hi @cordial97 . Are you wanting a static public ip address instead of the dynamic public ip address? Static public ip address is only available on business plans.

Or, are you wanting to reserve a local ip address for some device on your home network?

I'm trying to set a static IP for a Minecraft server, so I think local?

@cordial97 . Go to Advanced, Network, LAN Settings. In Address Reservation, click Add to get the entry window. Click ? to get some help. Choose ip address outside the range of the dynamic pool, e.g. 192.168.1.9.

Click Save. Whenever you reboot the Minecraft server, it will get this address.

You may need to setup Port Forwarding if it is to be accessed from the internet.
