Increase available ip addresses on Huawei HG 659

Hi there, is there a way to increase available ip addresses as I reached the limit after installing multiple smart switches and globes etc.

We raised this to our Engineering Team to check if there is other way to increase or add ip address to our supplied HG659 modem/router.

If there is no resolution I will have to cancel my voip service with you and use my own modem/router to resolve the issue.

Hi @clipster1968,

 

At the moment we're still awaiting response from our Network Engineering Team. You have the option to use a 3rd party modem/router. Please understand that the modem we provide is only a standard modem. Also, we provide the modem for all our NBN plans as they are sold as an Internet & Home Phone Bundle. You always have the option to use a 3rd party modem/router and we can provide you with the settings required to configure your 3rd party modem with the settings required to access the internet.

Hi @clipster1968,

 

We're able to confirm that the limit is 32 devices on our supplied Huawei HG659 and this cannot be changed
