Thanks for raising this to us. Internet light indicates that the service is connected/working.  For customers experiencing connection issues with their service, we recommend the best thing to do first is check if there's an outage.


Check our Service Status page for any known outages. If you're on NBN, we have created this article that can guide you on How to Check for NBN Network Outage

Thanks Shane that was a pretty basic issue in light of what happened next. I got the my TPG app and conformed my internet wasn’t working - lodged a fault report and an hour later got an email saying my internet had been transferred to another provider?! I have had to create a new account and waiting to be reconnected. Is this a common occurrence? It shouldn’t be that easy to get disconnected- even if as the TPG person I spoke to said someone might have given our address by mistake to an internet provider and they cut us off. Huge security problem if so. Be great to find out if it was related to me lodging a fault report.
