Mobile Router/Modem

We are setting up a new caravan and will need the internet connected. We can use our mobile phones as "hot spots" but would rather a dedicated modem/router to use for our internet usage. Does anyone have any ideas for one, that is supported by TPG?

Hi @marlute . So, this would be for when you are touring with the caravan? Would you want this to work at any random spot by the side of the road or places like a carvan park where there might be some wifi connectivity? Would it be for just one computer or would you want your phones to use it instead of their mobile data?

G'day David. We were thinking that we would be using the modem/internet in random places throughout Australia, not necessarily at a CP where there may be "free" wifi. Connectivity would be for 2 computers and for streaming to TV, (Kayo, Netflix etc) We could "hot spot" our phons and use that data, but ere wanting to keep the phones and internet seperate, just use a plan for internet as we do at home, or at least similiar.

Hi @marlute . Doesn't look like TPG offers mobile broadband. Their suggestion is another mobile phone to hotspot your internet devices. Have a look here.

Other companies offer mobile broadband plans. Do a search on "mobile broadband" and look at plans which use a pocket wifi adaptor; it allows multiple devices to connect. You need to consider network coverage, data usage, and you'll be paying for it each month.
