My Republic Modem TG789vac v2 HP

Abes16
Level 2

My service installation is complete.

When I search for wireless network it is still labelled 'my republic' instead of  'tpg' (?)

Have tried connecting modem to UNI-D port 2 on NBN box (was previously connected to port 1), but now have red light appearing on modem.

Any suggestions?

Hi @Abes16 .  Do you mean the wifi network name (SSID) that you connect to on your wifi device? The name doesn't mean anything apart from identifying it as yours. You can login to router's admin and change the names.

Use the UNI-D port as notified by TPG.

Hi,

Is the service is now working? The Wi-FI network can be change by accessing the modem/router page and renaming the SSID but this should not affect the performance of the service with TPG. Send us your details (Username/Customer ID together with the address on file) so we could check the status of the installation.

Regards,
