NBN FTTN - Unifi USG Will Not Connect

Hi All

I see that other people on this forum have got the Unifi USG working with TPG NBN FTTN. I was not able to get it to to work, note I was using the USG to handle PPPoE auth with the ADSL 2+ connection which preceeded the NBN upgrade.

Quick rundown of what I tried:

1) Put the TP-LINK Archer VR1600v Bridge Mode in line with this guide -   https://community.tpg.com.au/t5/NBN-Installation/Setup-bridge-on-TP-LINK-Archer-VR1600v-then-replace...

2) Unifi Setup is as per the attached images - PPPoE / VLAN ID = 2 / TPG username and password (same as web portal access / MSS Clamping  - Custom 1452 (highest possible).

Any assistance would be greately appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you.

I got it to work. The issue was I was setting a VLAD ID of 2 on both the Bridged Modem and the USG. I deleted this setting in the USG and it worked.

Hi,

TPG does no provide support for third party devices, however, I may advice you to check the ui forum.

Your device may not compatible with NBN VDSL2.

You can set up TPG as bdige and try if suits.

Thanks
