I also have this issue. D6220 been working for months. Now will not connect since 7/8/2020. Same symptoms as above if i try to use the wizard to set this up. If I manually set it up, the DSL status shows it has synced but not obtaining an ip address (0.0.0.0)
Had a technician come out yesterday and used ISP provided VR1600 and it worked. Said it was an issue with my router but I find this hard to believe as I have tried 2 D6220 routers, both wont connect. Yesterday it suddenly started working for several hours but after rebooting the router, problem came back.
After speaking with ISP technician they can see that the router is syncing at 60Mbps and they can see the MAC address of my router and that it is successfully authenticating. But it is not providig the router a DHCP lease. I suspect either a faulty DHCP server in the network somewhere or an upgrade making this router incompatible. Unlikely to have 2 faulty routers.
