New modem no internet Ax220-G2v

Hi 

just connected the new modem/router and there is no internet connection

wifi lights up but no internet. Have tpg working on it but has anyone experienced this with a new modem 

ps the old modem does connect to the internet ,just the wifi didn't work hence the requirement for. A new one

Hi @richardallen18 . Some routers have a switch to turn off wifi, eg. VR1600 has button on top edge to turn off wifi. Nothing like that on old router?

Do you have an ethernet computer you can connect to the old router? You can use it to check its configuration. You'll see PPPoE setting, with username and password. Also whether VLAN ID is enabled.

Login to new router and check its settings.
