Get online support
Hi
I am currently running my original TPG router (Archer vr1600v) on NBN50 Plan (Arris CM8200 NBN modem)
I have bough a new router Archer AX55 to replace this with
I cannot get this to connect to the internet, all the lights come on green but the internet light stay orrange
I have tried multiple LAN cables and this is not the issue
I had the same issue last week when i tried to replace the router with and Archer AXE73. After stuggling with it for ages i had an IT mob come out and they could not figure it out either, and suggested the router might be defective.
Clearly this must just be a network setting somewhere that needs changing?
I have scoured the community forum and internet and have tried all the proposed settings to my abillity.
I must be missing something. Please help
Hi @Jdbrowne ,
Let us help see what we can do for the router to work with your NBN service. Could you post the current internet settings of the device to better understand the situation, also shoot us a PM with your details.
Regards,

Hi @Jdbrowne ,
Is there other option under 'Advanced settings' the device must be configured to be a router only with VLAN ID 2.
Also remove the domain '@tpg.com.au' on the username.
Regards,
