No internet connection after unplugging and reconnecting cable

I unplugged the yellow LAN cable from both my modem and router, left them for about an hour, and when I tried to reconnect, it has no Internet light on the modem. I can connect to it again now via wifi but it says no data connection. Help!

Before you performed the said troubleshooting, were you able to connect to the internet before?

We also like to run a test on the line to confirm any issues.
