Hi,

I am now connect to TPG on FTTC using the NBN modem and TP-LINK VR1600v router.

To increase WiFi coverage, I plan to replace the VR1600v router with a Netgear Mesh WiFi 6 router. Please provide info on whether there is any info I need to extract from the VR1600v to transfer to the new router. Thank you.

Regards,

Andrew Mak

Hi @AndrewMak . On VR1600, look at Advanced, Network, EWAN. There is PPPoE, your username and password, and VLAN ID=2. This is the basic info for new router. Also, if you have made other changes like address reservations, port forwarding, parental controls, etc.
