Replacing Modem and Security System

Hi,

TPG Support have just sent me a new TP link AC1600 to replace my Huawei modem, I needed to be upgraded to work better with new NBN HFC router that I have changed at NBN request.

I have security camera setup through the Huawei HG658 , will I need to set them up for new modem or will the still work through the 24 port 1G switch without doing anything?

This was orginally setup by security installer.

There are some cases that there's a need to configure the security camera to the modem for it to work.

Please contact your security camera installer or provider for further assistance.

Hi BasilDV,

have replaced modem and it has picked up the security camera and security system.

All working fine.
