Switching from Huawei HG569 to Netgear Nighthawk Mesh Wifi 6

Hi,

I just bought a Netgear Nighthawk Mesh to replace my standard issue Huawei modem.

I can mange to get the Netgear set up running through the Huawei, but i can't get it running stand alone.

Can anyone walk me through this as it's driving me nuts.

Hi @Moby9669 . The Netgear needs the same settings as the Huawei (PPPoE, username and password). It also needs VLAN ID=2. Do a factory reset before setting it up. What model Nighthawk is it?

Thanks for the assist.

Took a few goes fiddling with those setting and re-booting but finally got it sorted.

Appreciate the advice.
