Hi There

 

I have been advised that I need to udpate by Archer VR1600v firmware. How do I do this?

Serial number: 319303001763
Hardware version: 1.1
Software version: unknown

 

I'm unsure where to see the rest of the details on either the device itself or by logging in to the router. If you are able to advise that would be great.

There are more numbers, but unsure if they are what is needed

Hi @JarredHolt, we can no longer update the firmware of the modem unless you're still an active TPG customer, who has an active account with us. You may try to push the firmware update which is indicated on the TP Link website, but this is already beyond our scope of support.

Ok. TP Link advised that they cannot offer firmware update as the modem is from TPG and I needed to contact TPG. Seems a shame to have to buy a new one and throw this one out
