VR1600v - Interface Grouping

jneather

I'm trying to use a new Interface Grouping (VLAN) on my VR1600v.

After successfully creating the new Interface Grouping there is no internet or gateway IP connectivity from that network.  The link comes up ok and the computer gets allocated DHCP address applicable to the new VLAN/subnet.  I see a ARP entry for the gateway but get no response when I ping the gateway IP.

This seems like a bug with the VR1600V - any suggestions or is there any newer firmware to try ?

(current Firmware Version:0.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 190228 Rel.72265n)

Thanks

Hi @jneather

Welcome to TPG Community!

May we know your target in setting up a new interface grouping?

Also, could you send me a PM with your screenshot of the settings that you've done to analyze this further?

Just an update.

We tested this in our lab on the same firmware version and the interface grouping works as advertised.

Devices in both interface groups are able to access the Internet and ping the default gateway.

When “Group Isolation” is ticked, then devices in Group 1 will not be able to ping devices in other Interface groups.

Refer to the screenshot below for the configuration.
