Please be advised that we customise the firmware of the modem we provide and this is different from TP Link's firmware, which is possibly the reason why you're getting this alert from Avast.
Your modem has the latest firmware for TPG and should work properly.

Hi @Anonymous ,
So why do I get an alert from Avast saying the router is vulnerable and an update is required?

Hi,
Do you have a link to Tp-Link firmware page for the VR1600v?
Also, how can I check I have the latest firmware at your end?
Thanks.
Hi @moitrieugatt,
Welcome to the Community!
Using your community details, I was able to check your account and the current firmware version of your modem. I can definitely say that it's up to date.
To check your current firmware version, you need to login to the interface of the TP-Link modem. Once logged in, just scroll down to the bottom and it will show you the firmware version. Similarly, you can go to the Advanced Tab > System Tools > Firmware Upgrade.
Regards,
Can someone please post a link to where I can download the latest firmware??
I'm running
0.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 180828 Rel.56416n
Which i know is not current.
Also no firmware available from TPlink
