VX420 installation stops intranet pc access

Updated to VX420 for VDSL service from Archer 1400. Internet ok and voip phone now ok. But now cannot share files across PCs on network as access permission denied. So can’t set up network drives any more. Anyone have any ideas on modem settings that could be causing this? Thanks.

Hi @Mbeavs . What is the actual model number of the old Archer router?

With the file sharing, are you wanting to access files on a USB memory device connected to the VX420, or are the files on your local PCs? 

Are the PCs ethernet or wifi connected?

Can you check what settings there may have been on the old Archer?
