Wifi extender

Ever since we got the 5G modem i haven't been able to connect to my wifi extender, even if they are next to each other. The modem & extender are the same brand & i didn't have an issue when it was the NBN modem.

Anybody else had similar issues or know of a fix?

Hi @Joel81 . Do you have the VX420-G2h modem/router?

Login to the router admin. In the wifi config, if Band Steering is enabled, try disabling it and alter the 5G ssid name.

I am having the same problem. My modem is the Sagemcom Fast 5866T. There is no band steering option on the wireless page. I just been on the phone with TPG for more than 1 hour and there is no solutions. Please assist
