archer vr1600v stopped working

Hi there, 


My nbn box (tplink archer vr1600v) stopped working abruptly this morning. Only three lights turned on - power, 2.4GHz and 5GHz. 


Fortunately, I have a spare nbn box as I cancelled my first booking of the nbn installation a few years ago. So I changed to the spare nbn box to make sure the previous nbn box is working. Surprisingly, the spare one works, which means the previous nbn box is faulty. 


Just wondering is this a common issue with tplink archer vr1600v? Is there anything that I can do to fix it such as upgrading the firmware or pressing the reset button?

We can't confirm if the provided modem/router is already faulty as of the moment.


And yes, you can perform a factory reset by pressing the button in the pinhole to check if it's going to help restore your connection.


We also want to run some test to make sure that the modem/router is communicating with the server.
