Hi re tp-link modem wifi router tp-link Archer VR1600v how set the Router so it automatically switches between the wireless frequencies 2.4GHZ and the 5GHZ?

Hi @georgeross100, 

The 2.4GHZ and the 5GHZ are to be selected manually on your devices. 

Your modem will only automatically select another Wi-Fi band/SSID, if your existing is not working or not detected.
