tp-link modem router AC1600 (Archer VR1600v) Initiation Failure

I just bought an NBN100 contract and got the modem. I followed the instruction inside the modem package box about the setting up. I believe that I have connected all the cables correctly with the NBN box. But when I tried to use the internet, a window popped up and said: "Your newly installed broadband equipment is waiting to be automatically configured." The status of my NBN box is normal. I waited for several hours, but it seemed the modem would keep this status forever. During the waiting time, I have tried to restart or reset the modem, but it did not work.
