wifi phones

I was with Telstra and just changed to nbn Tpg, but the Wifi phones I purchased not long ago are not connecting to the new TPG modem Wifi.?  A 1600V

Phone hand sets are Telstra Smart Handsets - Cordless Modele TSH-C

The TPG I received modem has no pairing button that I can see.

The sales people told me they should work! Am I doing something wrong?

Hi @JC3 . The VR1600 does not have a DECT base like the Telstra router. With the VR1600, you need a corded or cordless phone to connect to the Phone 1 port.

For your Smart handsets, you need a base station to connect to the VR1600.
