Cancel Telstra home phone and landline

I have my Telstra home phone number ported to TPG NBN. Do I have to cancel my account with Telstra or it will be cancelled automatically.

I would like an answer to this question too.  I would assume that when my landline number was ported to TPG NBN from Telstra that Telstra would have been notified to cancel my landline account, as occurs when a mobile number is ported. 

 

Do I need to notify Telstra to cancel my home phone account?
