Does TPG know NBN does not work when asking me to sign up?

TPG emailed, sms or called every day wanting me to convert to NBN.
You say just plug it in and it should just work.
Now that I have plugged the NCD in, there is no connection.
Of course, my ADSL has also stopped working.
All I have is an unhappy family and boss comes Monday, and a clicking NCD.

Now, TPG does not call me back.

We were able to locate your account using your community details and it appears that the NBN service is not yet installed, which is why the service is not working.


We understand that you were able to contact our Tech team yesterday and found out that there's an issue within the copper line, which is why the ADSL2+ service was not working. The case was escalated to our Engineering team and a Telstra technician is booked to check the service on or before the 16th of October.


Further updates will be given by your assigned Engineer as soon as it becomes available.
