I have purchased a D-Link Viper 2600 and having trouble connecting to NBN. I have run the setup with settings of VDSL, PPPOE, Username@tpg.com.au nothing else changed. It will not connect to the internet. I check the DSL link on this and it shows that the link is active. (green light) the Internet light is red)
Anyone have any ideas?
Hi @lesanderson . Is the Viper replacing a router that still works?
If you still have it, can you verify if it used VLAN ID 2, and your password is correct.
VLAN ID not used on Data only plan.
Try your username without @tpg.com.au.
The Viper System Log might have some info. Management, Log Info, System Log.

thanks for this. I messed around with this for a while last night with no luck took screen shots ready to send this morning and I decided to reset the Viper and retry. Bugger me it all worked as it should.
