Installing a modem

I am a landlord, and about to take back over my rental apartment where the last tenant had a TPG Fibre to the building connection. The tenant has moved out and left the old TPG modem plugged in. I have just set up a new TPG account, and a  TPG modem has been mailed to me. So what will happen if I simply plug the new modem instead of the old modem? Do I still need a TPG technician to attend?

Hi @MickNiddrie ,

Welcome to the community!

We usually send an email instruction to the e-mail address associated with the account this will provide information if the installation of the the service has been completed, but you may also track it by visiting this link (https://www.tpg.com.au/support/trackmyorder).

Once the installation is completed,  you can take the old modem out ( From old tenant ) and replace it with the new one.
