Internet freezing

My internet keeps freezing. The modem is setup in the garage. Do I need to get another modem?

Do you have FTTP or HFC where the NBN box and router are out in the garage?

Technician called me and advised I need a booster. My internet is FTTP

@bevsadiq1 . You should investigate if you can use a longer ethernet cable (Cat6) between NBN box and router. Depends on the layout of the house. It would mean the wifi is not being wasted in the garage.
