Hello - I use a tpg supplied Netcomm N300 Wifi Gigabit router (N12)  modem for a basic 12MB NBN FTTP service, now several years old. The connection drops out intermittently and this has occured even more frequently over the last couple of weeks. How can I test the integrity of the medem/router to determine if it is at fault, or NBN is at fault ?

Hi @jetpilot . When you have a dropout, do the lights change on the FTTP NBN box or on the N12?

Check the N12 System Log for anything just before and after dropout. You can copy and paste it in your reply here.

How do you recover from it?

Hello - the dropouts seem to be increasing in frequence and I might get 10 dropouts in an hour. The modem is quite warm undermeath as well. Can you test the router online? It is an infuriating issue as we have numerous other devices dropping out as well.

Thanks, Jetpilot

Hey, jetpilot. We ran an initial test and we can confirm that there is multiple dropouts from the modem/router's connection to our network. Could you send us your best contact number and preferred time so we can arrange our Team to call you for real-time test and investigation.
