NBN HFC internet and old Telstra copper wires

We have had NBN HFC internet for a couple of years now with high speed. Very happy. But can I remove the old underground Telstra copper cable that enter the house in the opposite corner of the HFC cable box ??? No photos attached as I cannot upload from iPhone . Tried to contact NBN - but that is an impossible task.

Since the NBN HFC technology uses the existing coaxial cable, then you may take out the old copper wires if you want to.

To make sure that the line for your NBN HFC won't be affected, you may need to hire a private technician to perform the removal of the copper wires in your premises.
