NBN Won't connect

I got new NBN modem and router for my service. I connected as per diagram to normal phone line. It doesn't sync or connect.
I had to stitch back to ADSL router to connect to you.
Does NBN FTC come through normal phone line?

FTTC does come through your normal phone socket and it won't need a filter. If you have more than one phone outlet, you can't put a phone in it.

TPG will notify you when to change over to your NBN equipment and send instructions. Keep on with ADSL for now.

The ADSL might stop for some time when they make the change-over.
