NBN connection

Hello

I recently signed up with TPG and received my modem last week. I have since discovered that my address is connected to nbn HFC and requires an nbn connection box in order to be plugged in and connected for use.
There is a connection point for the nbn box but I believe the previous tenants may have taken it with them when they left. Is there a way to get a connection box installed in order to have a functioning internet connection?
