NBN install status

Hi, I'm awaiting my NBN phone line to be checked it's been nearly a month and half from when I placed the order and I'm still not in the loop of what's happening with my phone line for the NBN but no one has come to check it out, can I please get some information on the status please. I missed a call the other day and when I tried to call back I was waiting for 40mins so I hung up.
