New NBN Internet Connection

Hi,
I have moved over from Optus and received my new TPG Modem this morning.
I have plugged this in and am now awaiting service to be active - leaflet mentioned within 30 minutes modem will configure itself and internet light will go green. This hasn’t occurred as of yet.

How long does this usually take before I’m live and able to connect?

For new services, we recommend customers to check if their service has been installed and activated.

 

We have created this community article, which contains a video on How to track your TPG service installation

 

We also send an email notification once the service is activated.

 

If you have received this email and the service is still not working, we recommend to check if the equipment is properly set up and we have created setup guides for all technologies that TPG use : New Connection Setup Help

Hey there,

I’ve just checked through the app and it says installation is progressing.

Should I continue to use my Optus service and modem until this is updated ?

We have located the account using your community details. We can see that the installation of your TPG NBN FTTC service has been completed and it shows up and running now.
