No Internet

So I ordered NBN last friday on the 24/4. Received the NCD and Modem on Tuesday but couldn't connect to NBN, had a technician come today 30/4. Came and left, still no NBN, doesn't matter. But now my adsl connection is not working anymore (was working before technician came). Went on TPG chat, the lady told me that adsl should still be working since my NBN is yet to be activated, then they passed me around to different departments for almost 2.5 hours (most of that time was waiting on que) before the chat suddenly disconnected. My problem is now I don't have internet at all. No NBN, no ADSL. Please help.
