No NBN connection

I plugged in my new NBN equipment from TPG yesterday and waited half an hour for it to work. Nothing worked so i left it for another 3 hours. Still no connection so i called up and spoke to someone who said that she will log an urgent call back at 5pm the following day to have the service activated. Come today 5pm, no call. I waited for 1 hour before making a call to TPG where i was on hold for 1hour and 50 minutes. The lady told me exactly the same thing as the lady yesterday. I need my internet service up and running as i am required to work from home due to this Coronavirus isolation. If only my service was activated as quick as the guy that sold it to me over the phone then it would be happy days. I made him confirm that switching from ADSL to NBN would be seemless. It hasn't been. Please activate my service asap so i can make money to feed my family. Thank you
