No internet access: Internet slow and now unable to reboot

Hi

Had noticed speed struggling between 1130pm to 12am today. Powered modem off/on. Internet then completely dropped out. Did hard reset via pin at rear. Trying to reconfigure using Ethernet cable but internet led is red. Not connecting via Browser to allow me to access Admin via 192.168.1.1. Help!

Netcomm Wireless Modem.
Current led status:
Power: ON (blue)
DSL: ON
Internet: OFF (red). Intermittent flashing, then solid red.
Ethernet: Port 2 ON (tested via Port 1 also)
WLAN: ON

We have checked the status of your connection and it appears to be working now. However, we are currently detecting a possible line fault causing the speed issue.
