Hi,
I have NBN connection and I want to opt out of CGNAT. Can TPG do that. Else I need to find alternative.
Hi @buildtec123 . TPG uses CG-NAT on its 4G/5G Home Wireless Broadband connections. Your connection gets a private address on the wireless network, which maps to a variable public ip address when needed. You can't opt out.
On standard NBN connections, each connection has a dynamic ip address which might be constant for several weeks, until a network outage or router restart. Business plans get a proper static ip address.
