Query regarding telephone socket for nbn

I have an old socket, and thus unable to connect my modem. 

Could you please advise what type of adaptor should I use for this?

My buidling manager advised that everyone is able to use this socket. But I was advised by Vodafone either to get an adaptor or to change the socket via some technician.

@ShivaniS . You can get this from a computer store (Harvey Norman, Officeworks, JB HiFi,...)

The given adapter by @david64 should work, or better if you book a technician to change the socket and check the internal wiring.
