Hi TPG lovers,

I just move to a new house and found a NBB FTTC device here. Unfortunately, My Router is TP-Link Archer VR1600v. Can I use that one to activate my TPG connection?

Thanks

Hi @nurhudamu

If there is a pre-installed NBN equipment there then your new address is eligible for a remote activation. You will need to connect your NBN compatible modem to the NCD as it is the first step to progress the service activation. Do you have an existing order with us? Just send me your TPG account details privately.

Morning Angeli,

I am ready to install my device. What should I do to be able start the activation process?

Hi @nurhudamu

We checked the account and understand that a case manager has been in touch.

May we know what happened as the notes indicated that they've advised you to configure the modem/router, but we can't detect that it is online?

Hi @nurhudamu

Are you using a mobile phone? Do you have a computer that we can use to access the modem interface?

If none, could you check on what is the IP address that your device is getting?
