Switching from Telstra adsl to TPG nbn

Hi. I am making the switch from Telstra adsl to TPG nbn. I have my email saying installation date and that no one needs to be home. Thing is I am working from home on computer with internet required. Will the Telstra adsl still be usable while the installation is taking place?

Hi @Me123 

NBN Installation has different Service Class types. Yours is under Service Class 12 for the NBN FTTN service. 

This means that the status of copper is known; jumpering may be required at the node. 

Since there is already an existing service, it is likely to work once the tech completes the install. You will receive a notification regarding the outcome of the installation.
