TPG old / new hardware - moving home

Hi, y'all. We are moving our NBN services with us to the new place. TPG sent us a new device to provide hardware for the new place. Please tell me what I should do with the hardware we currently use in our apartment we will vacate? Shall I return it somewhere? Throw it away?

Hi @grzesjerzy . You can keep the wifi router. If you live in an apartment and you had a FTTB/FTTN connection, then the wifi router plugged into the wall socket and nothing else was needed. You can keep it as a spare or it might be useful in your new place.

If there was some other device as well, an NBN box, it stays with the apartment since it is owned by NBNCo.

Hi david64, thank you for the answer. To clarify, the black one stays at the old apartment, being the property of the NBN Co. while I can take as a spare the white box with me? Is that right? PLease see attached pictures Smiley Happy

Hi @grzesjerzy . Correct. Black stays with apartment (HFC connection). White goes with you. Keep as spare.
