Warm modem

My modem has been installed on a partly enclosed shelf and is quite warm. Should I be concerned and perhaps put it on top of the desk?

We'll advise you to relocate the modem on top of a desk, since putting it in a close shelf will affect the signal of the WiFi connection which may cause dropouts, slow internet speed, etc.
